Memory, ways of remembering, items of memory, creating a memory, a mapping of a psychology, a symbol, a word, an image. Following that “chill of memory.”
Filmed in Ohio, it is a visual exploration using the camera and other material means to investigate family mysteries. The work materially explores memory and the carcerality of the mental healthcare system - the ways it affects people and the families within it. Made with a free-associative filmmaking process.
