Sisson was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to Iceland for an interdisciplinary project exploring the relationship between creativity and access to resources. Based in Reykjavík, she spent a year conducting artistic research that culminated in her feature-length experimental documentary, I Send You This Place. Through poetic observation and hybrid documentary form, the film explores memory, grief, and systems surrounding mental illness, and the stories we construct to make sense of experience.
