Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy
Creative Consultation

Whether working with an artist, filmmaker, writer, patient, or institution, my practice begins from the same premise: that meaning must be encountered; that meaning is mysterious. When I practice psychoanalytic work in the room, I am working from the same place from which I create. This is the space of the unconscious. A space where the story can emerge.

Psychoanalysis has transformed how I make films, conduct research, teach, and collaborate. Likewise, artistic practice has radically expanded how I listen clinically. Rather than treating these as separate professions, I understand them as different expressions of the same inquiry into narrative, subjectivity, memory, the unconscious, and the mysterious.
