What happens when memory is obfuscated?

An installation that explores what happens to memory functions after a traumatic event takes place. What happens when it all spits out? This project acts as a “DIY” therapy of recovering such memory. There are things about family and computers and the internet. Audiences interact with the printed falling pages while the printers are mic’d and amplified.

The piece was approached as a non-linear and interactive narrative project. Like a film but the frames of a film printed, layered, and falling from the active printers as audiences walk into the room. A text was written and layered visually with the printed images. <Link to text here>

What if your memory crashed like a computer? Could a computer program fix it for you?
